A bright white shaker kitchen built around a large veined quartz island, with glass-front uppers, a stainless hood and matt black hardware throughout.
Stacking the machines freed up the rest of this wall. A stained maple surround boxes them in properly with a crown detail on top, so it reads as cabinetry rather than as appliances shoved into a corner.
Beside them a quartz counter gives somewhere to fold, with drawers and cupboards underneath and open shelves above for detergent and baskets. A full-height cabinet at the end takes the tall items.
